Why most design systems fail at the handoff, and how designing in components from day one keeps Figma and code in sync.

A design system is only as good as its adoption. If engineers rebuild components because the Figma file doesn't match reality, the system has already failed.

We design in the same primitives we build with: tokens for color, type and spacing, then components with clear variants and states. Every component in Figma maps one-to-one to a component in code.

Document behavior, not just appearance. Loading, empty, error and disabled states matter more to engineers than another shade of gray.

Ship the system with the first feature, not before it. A system grown from real screens is smaller, sharper and actually used.
